Am Papierbach

Ausstellung am Bauzaun vom 8. Dezember 2017 bis 2. Mai 2020

Eine Frage, die jeden von uns immer wieder umtreibt, ist die nach dem Woher und Wohin. Wir müssen ein Gefühl für unsere Herkunft haben, um wissen zu können, wohin wir wollen, welche Richtung wir nehmen möchten.

Mit dem Quartier "Am Papierbach" widmen wir ein ehemaliges Produktionsgelände um, erwecken es – zusammen mit seinen künftigen Bewohnern – wieder zu neuem Leben und setzen es in eine wirkungsvolle Wechselbeziehung zur Altstadt und ihrem bunten Treiben.

Dies möchten wir in Wertschätzung und Anerkennung für das tun, was hier lange Jahre viele Menschen geschaffen haben. So entstand auch die Idee für dieses Photoprojekt.

At the paper creek

The question of where we come from and where we are heading is one that each of us ask ourselves time and again. We need a sense of our history to know where we want to go, which direction we want to take.

With the “Am Papierbach” ("At the paper creek") urban redevelopment, we are giving what was once a factory a new purpose and – together with its future residents – bringing it back to life, thus creating a powerful connection between it and the vibrant historic section of town.

We do this in appreciation and recognition of what numerous people have achieved here over the course of many years. That is also how the idea for this photographic project came about.
